Any quality skincare line starts with a good cleanser. Cleansers are designed to remove debris from the skin, including dermal toxins, environmental pollutants and make-up. The problem with many cleansers on the market is they include surfactants that strip the skin barrier of precious, protective oils. Surfactants were originally created to remove grease when washing cars - it's no wonder that many of the surfactants in our skincare products are so disruptive to our skin barrier!
These days, more gentle, skin-friendly surfactants are on the market, including sucrose laurate, the skin-conditioning, gentle surfactant in our Omega Cleansing Balm.
This Omega Cleansing Balm is an omega complex for the skin. It offers omegas 3, 6 (including GLA), 7 and 9, as well as medium chain and very long chain fatty acids - all of which are important for optimizing the lipid matrix of our skin barrier.
Canadian Wildflower Boreal Honey is also added for an enhanced skin soothing effect and lactic acid for gentle skin exfoliation.
pH = 3.8-4.1
